I've been using The Game Crafter to print some custom expansions for a game I play that also printed their cards from here. I have a special kit that gives me the same colors used by the official game, but whenever I print them the color is off.
I have a few pictures attached. Some colors are more obvious than others, and the back is very obvious. Each set of three cards has an original in the middle and two customs on each side.
Thanks for taking the time to write a review of your experience. We appreciate your business and honest feedback.
Our digital print presses do a great job of color matching games within the same order. However, when you order expansions or additional cards at a later date, there's no way we can guarantee the colors will match perfectly. This is because there are over 20 different factors that cause slight variances in the output of the printers. We can control temperature and humidity in our shop but there are many others we can't control. The printers are calibrated daily and serviced by technicians and we do this to minimize variances in our print jobs.
But, to be clear... we cannot guarantee color matching unless the cards/games are all being printed at the same time. Sorry we don't have a better solution for this right now but we have the latest and greatest in digital print presses and there's nothing we can do to improve this variance.

Actually, Travis - I have always felt that the colors on TGC have a yellow saturation to them.
The Tower card on the Left was printed by another company - it shows the mulberry color I chose; the Tower on the right is TGC - has a yellowish cast, as does the Justice card. Hard to judge a skin tone when the printing makes everything have yellow tinge.
