In the thread titled "Gaming Resources for Educators"...for some reason I am unable to reply in that thread...it is stated:
Teachers Pay Teachers
This is an open marketplace for educators to buy and sell teaching materials and products. Teachers can choose to sell digital downloads, various custom printables, and shipped hard goods such as board games and card games. If you're an educator and have created your own game, you should consider selling it on this marketplace. TGC participates in their referral program and they will pay us a 5% royalty on anything you sell on the site. This is an extra royalty from the company and doesn't reduce your amount.)
My question is how does this work? I sell digital goods at TeachersPayTeachers (powerpoints) and receive a commission from each sale. If I were to list a card game at TeachersPayTeachers it would have to be as a hard good. If I list a card game and someone purcahses a copy of the card game what happens then?
Do I link to The Game Crafter which would direct the buyer to the product page and then they have to purcahse the game from The Game Crafter? Or do I take their order and then purcahse the item from The Game Crafter myself but have it shipped to the buyer from TeachersPayTeachers? Either way, how would TeachersPayTeacher and The Game Crafter resolve the 5% royalty between the two companies?
Any information would be helpful.
This isn't a forum that's monitored regularly for questions, so if you ever have a question that's related to TGC, you may want to post it in the Shop or Publishing forums instead.
We have no direct relationship with the Teachers Pay Teachers site, so I'm not able to advise you on how sales work there.
