Hi guys and gals,

Not sure where to post this so apologies if this is the wrong forum.

I am looking to make some medium chits but there are two guidelines, an outer red ring and an inner dashed blue ring.  I'm assuming that the outer red ring is the chit boundary and that I can fill up to that line, but if that is the case, what is the inner blue dashed line about?  The chits have full bleed as far as I can tell so this isnt a bleed line to my knowledge - I dont want to design and request chits only to find that half of them are missing and that this is some sort of plain-colour boundary.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Andrew.

No worries. This is a good (and important) question.

The Outer Red line is the Cut line. Your artwork MUST go at least 1/8 in. outside of this. The dashed blue line is the "safe" zone. Make sure your important artwork is within this zone...

This is mainly because there is always some amount of drift in the actual cuts. In other words, the cutting process won't necessarily be right on the cut line.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
