Help with Crowdsale

If anyone can help, I need assistance right away!  My crowdsale started today at 8AM CST (listed by GC as 1PM GMT) but there is still no link to buy the game.  (Game is Where's My Chainsaw?)

Some people have started going the game's main page and buying it normally, which has not affected the crowd sale's totals.  This could be a real problem if it takes a while to go live!

GC support has not answered me since two days ago even though I have asked a couple questions since then, so I don't know how to get their attention.

Thanks for any help!

Did you end up getting help through official GC support? Just curious how this site is operated when things go sideways.

I did.  The problem was that the date/time information on my "Edit Crowdsale" page was not accurate.  The page shows the GMT for when your sale will start, but apparently it is actually CST.  This would be a minor issue except that you've notified all backers of the wrong time, and at launch your crowdsale never starts and a bunch of people start going wild. o.O

Support did contact me around 10am and then they had to struggle a while to figure out what was wrong.  It was not a customer service issue, but a tech issue.  Then at noon (when they thought it was going to start) it still didn't work.  Finally they discovered that it would be 1pm CST.

Hopefully this bug will get fixed now so no one else will encounter that anyway.

The only other thing I would say is do NOT enter anything in your game's description for "does your game include blood/injuries" and so forth.  It turns out that a "yes" to any of these makes your game ineligible for the Showcase (front page site banner) and Crowdsales.  I was just trying to be diligent and fill everything out (and the instructions ask very nicely for you to please answer truthfully), and had no idea this would cause problems.  It's a trap!  XD  Just leave these blank and let your game's description and images speak for themselves.  No reason to volunteer for censorship IMO.  Maybe it wouldn't bother me if the questions were solely about profanity and sexuality, but the blood one was a little dumb.

All in all support did a great job though, and kept emailing me throughout the day as things got sorted out.  It was hectic to have these problems on a crowdsale launch, but it was all bug issues really.

Hope that helps.

The issue with the time zone display has been fixed.  When we updated our site recently, the functionality was changed to display the actual start time of the crowd sale in the user's time zone, rather than in GMT for everyone.  The GMT has now been removed.  This should help future sales go more smoothly.
