This reply might be too late to help you, but might help others with the same question:
I ordered a game last month to Scotland. Shipped on the 10th of March and arrived in the UK on the 17th, and it was at my flat by the 20th. That's the only thing I've ordered using the new UPS Innovations though, so I can't say if that's accurate for everyone else, but for me it was no slower than the older UPS cheapest delivery.
I live in France. I ordered on 8/1/2017. The pack was shipped on 8/15/2017 (so, manufacturing has been longer than usual).
I got my pack in France (Hourtin, 33) on 8/25/2017, so 10 days.
The bad news is I had to pay 37 euros (about $43) to get it to for VAT and Custom fees in addition to what I had already paid to TGC/UPS (including $36.06 for UPS Innovation + $0.74 handling fees + $9.93 shipping insurance).
It is the 1st time it happen to me, also 1st time with UPS Innovation. I have just told TGC about this.
This actually has nothing to do with using UPS Mail Innovations as the shipping method. As we state during checkout, international packages may be subject to Customs fees and/or VAT upon receipt of the package. These fees/taxes are assessed by Customs when the package enters the destination country.
GenCon, the largest tabletop gaming convention in the US, took place from 8/17-8/20 this year. We generally receive a high volume of orders in the few weeks leading up to this convention, which is why production time was longer than usual.
If you have any other questions or concerns, we recommend contacting us directly, rather than posting in this forum (which is intended for non-TGC gaming topics).
