I don't want to be boring... but.. Does anyone have an opinion or information on the effect of ordering decks from the EU if Britain leaves?
I really don't want to get into a debate, I'm ONLY interested on the impact on being a collector, if there is any. The only thing I can really think of may be postage costs but would orders suddenly become subject to customs charges like from the US? Would European deck publishers charge more or more likely, would UK book sellers be charging more?
Good question, but most collectors will buy the deck they want because to want it, regardless of it's cost. Regardless of country of origin, postage is just outrageous and illogical; why can I ship a deck 3,000 miles across the country for $8 but to ship it 300 miles north to Canada costs $20 - yet all the way to Australia for $24?
Being, or not being part of the EU may not change much because anything leave most countries (other than the USA) have the added VAT charges, anyway. But if Britain will up it's postage fees for leaving the EU remains to be seen.
