I am going to launch a Kickstarter project soon: The Tarot of Creativity deck of cards (see the project on your site). I have proofed them on your site, and am pleased with the deck in print. I think I will be printing them through you. I have a couple questions:

BOOKLET

-- What is the standard size for a Tarot booklet?

--  Is the cost of a 12 page booklet $2.40? Am I right in thinking that this booklet consists of 3 sheets of paper with four images on each (2 on each side of the paper---spread)?

-- Does this 12 page booklet fit comfortably inside the standard size Tarot tuck box without too much empty space?

-- Do you offer bulk discount on booklets as well? I can't tell from your website.

BULK ORDERS & KICKSTARTER FULFILLMENT

-- I am pleased that you offer fulfillment for Kickstarter clients, and would like to know what a deck in a box with a booklet would cost to ship to the final customer.

-- And how long would it take to print and ship each deck if the project ends in mid-November, and I place my order immediately at that time? Taking into account the holidays...

-- And lastly, how much should I request from a foreign pledger to cover the additional shipping and handling charges?

---------

Of course, I am sure it would be great to be able to offer my deck in time for the holidays, but I would have to know in advance if this is possible.
Most of my questions have to do with pricing and timing; two very important variables that can make or break a project. I am crunching figures before launching this project.

A tarot booklet is the same size as a tarot deck 2.75 x 4.75.

A 12 page booklet is $2.46.

The whole game gets a bulk discount, the cards, the booklet, and the box. In the game editor you can click on "Bulk Cost Each" and you'll see how much you pay per game at various quantities.

Your best bet is to create a few fake addresses in various places around the world to get some pricing and load those into our bulk order fulfillment system. Then you'll get exact pricing to lots of locations and therefore better know how to price shipping in your kickstarter.

It's impossible to know how long it will take to print and ship your games in mid-November, because we don't know what other order volume will be. What I can tell you is that we're ramping up for the holdiay season as we speak so that we can push out around thousand games per week during the holiday season. If you do place the order in mid-November, it will almost certainly make it to all your backers before Christmas. Definitely in the US, and most likely in other locations as well.
