I'd been looking at Founding Fathers and its expansion for some time.  Everyone here seems to love it and the topic is really interesting to me.  Back in May I was going to be visiting some gaming friends out of state for a "gaming week", and FF was $10 off at the time, so I pulled the trigger.  I also HAD to get the expansion, because I'm OCD that way.  The problem was estimated delivery time - it might not arrive before I left.  So I tried to get the shipping address changed to my friend's house.  Turns out you can't do that for some reason - Gamecrafter told me I had to cancel and reorder using my friend's address.   So I did - but I lost my place in the production queue and now a component was out of stock, so the game wouldn't arrive until after I'd returned home.  At this point I realised that with the expansion and shipping I was spending around $90 on one game, that it probably would just go in THE PILE and not get played because it wouldn't arrive in time, and that my friends and I all had plenty of other games to choose from anyway.  So I cancelled the order.  I still regret it a little, but I saved $90 and I really do have plenty of other stuff to play
