I asked our production team about this and got the following answer:
You can do this with a large parts bag (tested) - however the tiles do not move around easily due to the square corners and their size. Recommendations would be Large Square Chit, Small Hex Tile or maybe one of the circles.
I appriciate the suggestions but square is the only option. And while smaller than 2X2 would be doable, .75X.75 is too small. Unfortunitly, I don't see that you offer a size in between those.
What about fewer tiles? How many Small Square Tiles (2X2) could fit in a Large Parts Bag and allow players to draw a tile at random?
The Large Square Chit is 1.25" x 1.25".
My apologies. 1.25X1.25 is what I meant. That is too small. Two pawns have to be able to sit in the same corner of the tile. For the game, each player needs 8 pawns all distinguishable from each other so I'm going with sticker pawns. With 2X2, it is already a tight fit. I'm sorry for the confusion.
Sure thing. Well we know that 105 will work and so I would expect that the fewer tiles, the more room there will be and the easier it will be to mix them up. This is really subjective so I think you'll need to try out what you want and if it doesn't work you can reduce the number so it's more inline with what you want. Thanks
