I feel that almost all the components on The Game Crafter are top notch, and are competetive with components found in other games.
The one exception to this however are the boxes. They just don't have the durability found in other games. Now, admittedly I've only tested the large retail box. Is the large pro box better quality? What I don't like about the pro box is that you can't fully wrap the box with your artwork on all sides.
Any chance you all would consider offering a higher quality box, even if people had to pay a little more to get it, because I'd be willing to pay more to have the option to have a box that rivals the boxes of other published games.
We're pleased to hear you think our components are mostly top notch. :)
For custom printed boxes, the Large Retail, Medium Pro, and Small Pro boxes are all fully printed on all sides. The Large Pro has 2 sides that aren't printed on because the small stickers for those sides made the box ridiculously expensive and no one would pay the cost to do it. So I would suggest trying one of the other boxes.
We've heard requests for additional boxes and that's likely something we'll be working on in the future. Thank you for taking the time to give us your honest feedback. We're always trying to improve the service and this kind of feedback is useful to our team.
Glad to hear you'll be working on other box options (thicker?) in the future.
I really appreciate what you do here at The Game Crafter. It's made game design accessible to so many more people.
Keep up the good work!
